To fill in the "missing" yearly post... This Eastern dragon is folded from 2 pieces of square paper, joined in the middle of the body. The design is from Jun Maekawa, from the book "Genuine Origami". Time taken to fold is about 3 hours.
Most girls just love flowers besides handbags, shoes, clothes, fragrance, cosmetics, etc =) A half dozen of real roses will be about RM50-60 and one dozen would be around RM100. Prices will varies depending of what type of flowers and wrapping style. It will be much much cheaper if purchase from Cameron Highlands. Maybe RM10 will get 10 fresh roses, minus the wrapping.
With RM10, an origami flower with a single leaf can be made (by Stephen Hecht). Here is a bouquet of three flowers with wrapping. Happy International Women's Day on the 8th of March 2011.
